Kathleen Higgins, CPA Joins Malba Media

Malba Media LLC, a specialist in the field of servicing entertainment companies in the areas of accounting, finance, and administration, is excited to bring aboard Kathleen Higgins, a highly experienced CPA with a background in entertainment, fashion, and hospitality.

Kathy has supported a wide range of companies in the industry including distributors, production studios, and animation houses. Her expertise has covered handling debt/equity financing for film productions; state production tax incentives; and overseeing production accounting to ensure projects were completed on budget.

Kathy will bring her talents to the clients of Malba Media with the expertise and professionalism the company is known for. “I have worked with Kathy in the past and have always wanted her to join the company,” said Malba Media President Ralph Boral. “The timing aligned and I could not be more excited. Not only does Kathy have superior accounting skills, but our clients will really appreciate her calm demeanor. We all know how tense productions can get. Kathy earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting at St. John’s University and her M.B.A. from Indiana Wesleyan University.
